Felted Slippers

Another new class that I have begun to teach is 'felted slippers'.  This involves tracing a pattern around our feet, cutting the pattern out of vinyl, then laying four layers of merino fleece around the pattern.  Then the felting begins in earnest.  Here is a picture of the four pairs of slippers made that day.   I learned a lot that day, finer details of how to teach this class.  It is so true that when one teaches something, the teacher learns as much as the students.
