Felted Tapestry Class at Yavapai College
This past weekend I taught a felted tapestry class at Yavapai College, 12 people came. It was very successful, I thought the quality of work created was very high. I love the time away from time such a class develops for a group when we get down to the imaginative work of creating art. It felt very healing, then time develops within the hours to share our stories, to see each others genius, to witness how each person has their own sense of touch. Here are some photos from the class.

Sharon - Your artwork is absolutely stunning! It was such a delight to meet you and take your felting class this past weekend. It was truly one of the best workshops I've ever taken, and I'm really excited at the prospect of doing more felting with you in the near future.
ReplyDeleteThanks Dawn, I really enjoyed teaching the class and always appreciate the opportunity to share the art of felting. I think it is a very healing art.
