These pictures are from the first nuno felting class I taught recently. Nuno is a Japanese word that means cloth. Nuno felting then, is felting wool into a cloth base, often silk. We felted merino fleece into a light weight silk cloth. The results are a puckered drape to the cloth that yields a more complex fabric. And it was so much fun!
