Winter into Spring Classes

Here is a description of the classes I'm offering in the next months.

Classes February, March and April 2011

Late winter and spring Classes now available.  I hope you will find something of interest.  There are more new classes along with old favorites. If the dates do not work for you, think about bringing together a few friends and we will create dates for your group, at my studio or your house or...  When you do this, you attend free.  Call me for specifics.  These classes are for adults and youth 13 and older. And there is one class (last one) offered twice – once for adults and once for younger children! Check it out!

Felted Beads.  Thursday February 24; 9 am – 12:30 OR Sunday April 11, 1-4:30

*New* Several people have asked that I offer this class.  You will learn three techniques for felting beads, and make around 30 beads that day.  They will be ready to string, I’ll show you how I string them with glass and wood beads.  You could also use these beads to embellish a hat, shawl, to make a pin, to put on a purse, along with many other creative uses.  All materials and supplies provided.  3 ½  hour class.  $35.00 Class size 3-6

Beginning felted Tapestry Class.  Saturday February 26; 9am till 3:00 (half hour lunch)

This is one of my trademark classes.  I have offered this class many times.  I love teaching it; everyone makes a beautiful felted tapestry.  5 ½   hour class.  $65.00  Class size 3-5

Nuno Felted Scarf Class.  I’ll offer this class twice as many people are interested.  Friday, March 4^th from 9  - 2 pm  OR  Saturday, March 26  9 - 2 pm (half hour lunch)  This is so much fun!  A new felting technique of felting wool onto a sheer fabric (we’ll use silk).  As the wool felts, it shrinks and creates interesting puckers in the silk, creating a beautiful draped scarf.  All materials and supplies provided.  4 ½ hour class.  $70.00  Class size 3-4

Waldorf Healing Arts Class. (REVISED) Thursday evenings,  6:30 –8:30 pm; March 24, 31, April 7, 14.  Some of you may know me through my work as a Waldorf Teacher.  The Waldorf curriculum is an enriched healing arts program based on a fine understanding of human development. The processes used are also very healing and nourishing for adults.  During this 4-session course we will work with the moral  water color painting exercises, form drawing, speech exercises, copper ball and copper rod exercises.  All materials and supplies provided.  Come and experience a deep inhale and exhale through the arts.  Class size 3-5 $80.00

*NEW * Felted Flowers Pins, Hair Ties  and Crazy Sticks. OFFERED TWICE! For Adults : Sunday, April 17 , 1-4 pm  For Children (ages 7-12) Saturday, April 30,  9 –12 noon.  Each participant will go home with beautiful flower pins, hair ties and something we call crazy sticks! Class size 3-6  $35.00

With your deposit your enrollment is firm, if you need to cancel,  please give a 1 week notice in order to receive a refund.  If minimum enrollment for a class is not reached, I will contact you and refund your deposit.
