A Snowy Day in the Mountains

It was only our second winter storm of the season and gratefully received in these mountains so prone to drought.  And perhaps another cold storm is on its way.  How we need the precipitation before the dry winds of spring come upon us.  I love the feeling that comes when the heavy clouds lay low, when there is a muted silence outside, and everything in our place slows down.
